Thomsun Mercantile & Marine LLC is expanding its operations with the addition of a temperature-controlled facility. By the end of the year, our built-up space will reach 50,000 sqm, enhancing our ability to meet diverse logistics needs and ensuring the safe storage of temperature-sensitive goods.
Anticipate excellence in warehousing with our upcoming facility near Gate No. 10 in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). Scheduled to commence operations from January 2025, this state-of-the-art warehouse is designed to set new standards in storage and logistics, offering an impressive array of advanced features:
Temperature-Controlled Storage:
- Covered Temperature-Controlled Area: Equipped with a Multi-Tier racking system (VNA) for up to 23,870 pallet locations, accommodating 38,200 cubic meters (CBM) at +18 degrees Celsius.
- Dedicated Frozen Storage: Includes a Mobile racking Frozen Temperature-Controlled area with at -18 degrees Celsius, capable of storing up to 7,364 pallets, providing a total capacity of 12,000 CBM.
Security and Monitoring:
- 24-Hour Security: Manned by dedicated personnel in two shifts, ensuring continuous surveillance and protection of assets.
- CCTV Monitoring: Monitored by the Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA), offering comprehensive video surveillance for enhanced security.
Professional Operations Team:
- Dedicated Staff: Committed professionals with specialized expertise in warehouse operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Additional Storage Space:
- Mezzanine Area with Cargo Lift: Spans 1,132 square meters, offering an additional 2,500 CBM of versatile storage space, accessible via a 2 ton hydraulic cargo lift for efficient handling of goods.
Logistical Infrastructure:
- Ramps and Docks: Features 16 ramps with plugging facilities for refer containers and 16 docks, facilitating seamless loading and unloading operations to streamline logistics processes.
- Equipment: Supported by 5 VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) machines, 3 Reach trucks, 6 forklifts, and 5 pallet riders, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods within the warehouse.
